During my recent stay at Hotel Gillow, I felt right at home in the heart of Mexico City's historic center. The room was a cool oasis, featuring a wonderful balcony that was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring nearby sites like the stunning Metropolitan Cathedral, just a stone's throw away. Breakfast at La Capilla restaurant was a highlight, boasting a bountiful buffet with both hot and cold options that catered to my marine biologist appetite—fuel for my explorations! The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, making me and my travel companions feel truly welcome. Plus, the building's charming architecture transported me back in time, with beautiful decor and that picturesque courtyard filled with birds. If you're looking for a blend of history and comfort, this is the perfect spot for a fabulous stay!
